Dogs and cats tend to internalize stress, which can profoundly impact their bodies. It's easy to miss these signs, particularly if there is stress in the larger household or even in the middle of a disaster or emergency.
Testing with stress-free sampling allow conscious animal guardians and animal care professionals to know if and exactly how stressed a pet is, even if they are stoic.
Dogs and cats who experience prolonged stress or anxiety can have changes in their physical systems. Over time, these weakened systems can lead to digestive issues, compulsive behaviors, and more.
Our menu of monitoring and stress assessment tests provide you with access to objective evaluation data on your patient, regardless of their geographic location.
Most samples for these tests can be collected by the client at home (urine, feces, hair, etc.) and the easy process both increases both client compliance and allows client engagement with patient care. Our team is available to coach clients though sample collection, processing, or submission steps as needed.
Baseline Stress Assess Kits
Baseline Series tests are ALL needle-free. These tests are run on free-catch urine and feces - these baseline stress assessments are ideal for trauma-responsive care in animals that have experienced or are recovering from a traumatic experience. Easy, caregiver-led sample collection allows clinical sessions to focus on relationship-building and problem-solving, rather than stressful blooddraw or medical restraint.
All Baseline Test Kits receive 6 months of Office Hours Subscription - our clinicians are available to answer questions about test results and guide next-step action plans.

Our GoSlow clinics are available to offer trauma-responsive diagnostic sample collection assistance. Our team is available to help train cooperative care skills, provide fear-free medical restraint, and collect samples (urine, feces, blood, FNA, skin scrapes) while focusing on patient care, patient consent, patient advocacy, and trauma-informed clinic design and appointment protocols.
