GoSlow Cooperative Care Clinics

Supporting the preventative care needs of our animal-loving community.
​Need an extra hand? - these clinics offer handling and sample collection services for practitioners' own animals or for animal patients that needs just a bit more time or a less stimulating environment for sample collection or preventative care services. 

​Participation in this clinic does NOT establish a primary care VCPR (veterinarian-client-patient relationship).  

T​his clinic serves these two groups of clients:

  • Veterinary professionals in need of assistance with their own animals 

  • Clients by referral from a member of their animal's veterinary care team

GoSlow Cooperative Care appointments  |  $75 / 30min session
Our team can assist in collecting diagnostic samples from animal patients.  This service is designed for veterinary patients that might need just a bit more help / time / slower pace during sample collection or for the veterinary practitioner that needs an extra hand in caring for their own animal. 

Patients that need just a bit more time and a slower pace for sample collection are a great fit for this service. 
Additionally, these time slots allow us to work with patients learning cooperative care skills for medical procedures, we are able to take time during the sample collection process and love when the owners, trainers, and other members of the care team work alongside us to build positive associations / cooperative skills during sample collection.  ​

Services:

Sample Collection (canine & feline only)

  • ​Blood, urine (free catch only), feces collection, mass aspirate (FNA), ear/nasal swabs

  • Access to area send-out diagnostic laboratories (Idexx, Zoetis) is available, and/or we can ship the sample to an area clinic location, or give you the sample to take with you!

Diagnostics (canine & feline only)​

  • Ultrasound imaging (Diagnostic Imagine with Dr. Christina Copple

  • IDEXX In-house CBC, Chemistry, Snap-Reader analizers

  • IDEXX drop boxes and Fex-Ex send-out diagnostic laboratory

  • Zoetis pickups and dropbox diagnostic laboratory service access

Vaccinations (available with referral by primary care veterinarian only)

  • Canine Rabies

  • Canine Distemper/Parvo

  • Canine Bordatella (oral)

  • Canine Leptospirosis

  • Feline Rabies (non-adjuvant)

  • Feline RCP ("feline distemper")
